We at Northwood Church are grateful and proud our strong music program. We have a talented and dedicated choir, a gifted Direcor of Music/Organist and strong lead voices. We have always made good use of the musical talent we have available, so at times we’ve had guitar players, a bluegrass band, and a bit of jazz. If you have a voice for singing or an instrument for playing, we hope you’ll bring that gift of yours with you!

The Chancel Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. almost every week during the program year and meets again four times a year for an extended 3 hour session on a Saturday to learn and practice seasonal music.  Our choir is small but mighty, blessed with truly wonderful voices that enrich our worship with beautiful anthems and responses. For two services each year, one before Christmas and the other on Palm Sunday or Easter, the choir leads the entire service and provides God’s message through song. We are also often blessed when we have a group of instrumentalists or a single harpist come to accompany our choir. Their skills combined with our choir’s talent make for truly awesome music!
